Job Details Role Description The successful incumbent will be responsible for the management and performance of Averda South Africas Healthcare Business Unit. Based in City Deep, the employee will direct, participate, and contribute to the financial and operational performance of the Business Unit to support and contribute to the delivery of the Companys overall strategy. Forming an integral part of the companys Business Units management team, reporting directly to the National General Manager of CX Operations. The role will primarily be responsible and accountable for the following functions: • Compile and deliver on annual budget including CAPEX in collaboration with key stakeholders. • Successfully deliver quarterly and annual Financial Budget expectations. • Successfully manage cash-flow, accurate forecasts, and debtors. • Effective management of working capital. • Effective cost containment. • Compile and present monthly financial- and FRAD reports. • Collaborate with role players to ensure customer satisfaction. • Ensure operational execution plans are aligned with strategy, policies, and procedures. • Design value proposals for implementation by operational teams. • Design effective operational organizational structures. • Manage Healthcare strategy, business processes, policies, structures, and standard operating procedures. • Asset management & optimization of all fleet, equipment, and facilities • Operational, QHSE, legal and environmental compliance. • Successful management of internal, external and 3 rd party service level agreements. • Recruitment of employees. • Improve employee engagement. • Conduct quarterly Performance Management in line with company policies. • Ensure on- going training and development programs. • Agree career path objectives with key employees & succession planning. Minimum Qualifying Criteria • A related Business Degree or equivalent will be highly advantageous, though not essential • A minimum of 10 years working experience of which at least 5 must be in a similar senior managerial capacity specifically obtained in the Services, Waste Management, or Healthcare related industries • A valid code 8 drivers license (code 10 would be advantageous) • Fluent in English and at least one other official South-African language • Computer literacy on the full Microsoft Office Suite • Working knowledge of SAGE or similar business management software
